The Student to Leadership Program, powered by HOYA Vision Care, helps opticianry students, apprentices, and emerging professionals attend the 2027 One Vision | One Voice | One UOA National Conference, June 2-5, 2027, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Grant recipients receive conference registration and travel support, along with the opportunity to connect with industry leaders, educators, state association representatives, and fellow students from across the country. New for 2027, recipients will also be featured in a special issue of INVISION Magazine, providing an opportunity to share their story and career goals with the broader optical community.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

Be enrolled in a formal education program

Be a registered apprentice
-
Be working under the guidance of a mentor or sponsor
How to Apply
Complete the online application by February 1, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
Applicants will be asked to provide information about their education, training, and career goals, as well as explain why they would like to attend the One Vision | One Voice | One UOA Conference.
